good eye my man.. that white mkii is a custom made car- the authentic HO size body is really for slot cars but I had to make one into a mini rc. I also have the MC8R MR2 Le Mans slot car body as well.

Wow! I have to say that's one very nice collection, and the word "collection" is an understatement.

Out of the 15 or 20 items I've collected over the years, you have at least one of everything I have.

If I had to "pull a hidden ace from up my sleeve" it would be an adult video, in which a blue mkII is a "prop" for the adult activity taking place all across the hood of this car.

Has anybody seen this? I don't even know the name of the video. I copied it to VHS several years ago, I think I need to convert it to digital for the benefit of the MR2 community.

Road and Track August 85

Can someone tell me where I can get a copy of this? I know owner "Martin" has an extra--willing to sell it? Thanks.

Hey does anybody know if they made a MR2 1/43 slot car? I see many Fieros so would think that the would have it's JDM counterpart in a set!

nah man, they didnt make any "slot" cars but plenty of each generations are available in 1/43 scale so it is very possible to mount one up to a slot chassis

Talking

I was reading your other post. Is this 1/43rd?

If not I need a plastic shell like this to start with in 1/43rd scale. Most MKII's I've seen are metal. I have a few HW's now .

I would like to tackle this project and maybe use an AFX Traction+ chassis as they are kinda cheap now and pretty durable. I've alway been a slot car fan and have a pretty big track .

Now I find out that this thread is almost at the 100 post kill point ugh! Well looks like we will have to start another one .

Hey man,
no its not 1/43 its an HO scale which I think its 1/76- a little bigger than a hot wheels- like the old AFX slot tracks- thats what that body is for. hmmm, so you're looking for 1/43 in anything other than die cast (metal).. I have an SW20 in 1/43 but it is super rare- quality isnt that good but by sheer availability- it is rare.. I will post up a pic tonight. also have an MC8R 1/43rd scale in resin(plastic) but that is pretty spendy.. thats all I know about for non-diecast kits- I'm sure you know about the Ebbro's, Tosa's and M-tech's.. I hope that since this thread is stickied, it would not close out at 100 posts.. but oh well, all the more reason why I wanted them to create a memoribilia section.. because we all have some items

OK I see it's more a 1/64th then. I was getting my numbers crossed. Anyways when comparing the HW to the old Tyco and AFX bodies and chassis the HW it a little bigger but not much. I'll prob due some fab work and see how it turns out.

I found a new addition to the collection everyone needs and just thought everyone should know. Hot Wheels released their "Happy Birthday!" edition and guess what car they chose for the final car? . You can pick these up at Wal Mart now for $1.50. I've found a few but not at every Wal-Mart. If anybody finds any variations on this color, diff wheels, mis-package. let us HW collector/MR2 fans know . Collector number is N1160-0910

BTW if you can't tell from the pics the interior plastic is chrome and the windsheild plastic is tinted black.

that's right- good looking out- just wanted to add that the green Happy Birthday cars are a Wal-Mart exclusive and can ONLY be found there. I havent seen any variation on it yet.. there are always errors to look for

I finally had some spare time and didn't want to lose this one before I built it. It's a Spirit 1/24 Model with Volk wheels I found on Ebay.
